How Customers Opt In
Customers opt in to SMS messages on our public website at mikeysdetailing.com. On the "Get a Quote" / Quick Quote form, the final step asks for their name and phone number. Directly above the "Lock in my price" submit button, where they cannot miss it and before anything is sent, they read the full disclosure: who the texts are from, what the texts are about, that message and data rates may apply, that frequency varies, and how to stop.
Tapping that button is the opt-in. There is no checkbox to tick and nothing is pre-checked. Submitting the form after reading the disclosure directly above it is the customer's affirmative act of consent, and it is the only way a number enters our system. We store the exact wording the customer agreed to, with a timestamp, alongside the lead.
Nobody has to opt in to do business with us. A customer who would rather not get texts can call (425) 600-7897 or email book@mikeysdetailing.com and get the same quote and the same service without ever submitting the form. Below is an exact reproduction of what the customer sees:

Inside that disclosure, "SMS Terms" links to this page and "Privacy Policy" links to our Privacy Policy. Our Terms & Conditions are linked from the footer of every page, so all three are readable before the customer submits.
