What's included in a full detail?
A full detail at Mikey's Mobile Detailing in Snohomish, WA is the whole interior and the whole exterior in one visit, in your driveway. Inside: a deep vacuum of the seats, carpets and trunk, steam cleaning, shampoo on fabric seats and carpets, leather cleaned, the dash, console, door panels, vents and cup holders wiped down, and the floor mats pulled and cleaned. Outside: a two-bucket hand wash, wheels and tires, a clay bar, wax or sealant, the glass and the door jambs. It takes 3 to 5 hours and costs $369 for a sedan, $409 for an SUV or pickup, $449 for a van or 3-row, plus $30 or $60 if it's really rough. You pay after we walk around it together.

A car wash gets the surface dirt off. A full detail is something else entirely. Every surface inside the car, every cup holder, every air vent, every seam in the leather, gets cleaned. Every panel outside gets washed, decontaminated, and sealed. The car you get back doesn't just look cleaner. It looks 3 years younger.
That's what I do. I roll up to your driveway with a full mobile setup, spend 3-5 hours bringing your car back to factory-fresh, and you don't pay me a dollar until you walk around the car and tell me it's right.
Most clients book a full detail when their car is hitting that "I should really do something about this" point, kid spilled juice 6 months ago, dog hair has its own zip code, the paint hasn't seen wax since the dealership. After a full detail, the recommendation is to maintain it on the Clean Club recurring plan, where you stay clean year-round at a lower per-visit price.

A wash is a wipe-down of the outside. A full detail is a top-to-bottom restoration, every surface inside and out. It's the difference between brushing your teeth and going to the dentist.
If both sides have issues, interior dust/stains/pet hair AND exterior dull paint/water spots, full detail. If only one side is bad, a single-side service saves you money.
3-5 hours for a first-time full detail. Less for Clean Club members, because the car never gets that dirty.

You can, but you'll save money doing them together. The full-detail price is bundled, splitting them costs more total.
