The Process
Step 1 — Decontamination Wash
Two-bucket hand wash, iron remover to dissolve embedded brake dust, clay bar to pull out anything still stuck. Paint has to be perfectly clean before correction.
Step 2 — Paint Correction
This is where I remove swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation. Coating locks in whatever is on the paint, so this step matters. Skip it and you're sealing in flaws for 5 years.
Step 3 — Surface Prep
Panel wipe-down with isopropyl to strip any residual oils or polishing compounds. The coating needs bare, clean clear coat to bond.
Step 4 — Coating Application
